Smart Home Without Cloud in Pattaya
A smart home without cloud dependency is a system where the main automations work locally inside the property: in a house, villa, apartment or condo. Lighting, air conditioning, pumps, water leak protection, sensors and other devices do not fully depend on external Tuya, Smart Life or other cloud servers.
This approach is especially useful for villas, rental properties, condos and houses in Pattaya, where stable automation is more important than simply controlling a few lamps from a phone.

Send the device brands, existing apps, router model and a list of functions that must continue when the internet is unavailable.
Local Without Cloud Starter — 29,900 THB
The installed package includes Home Assistant Green, Sonoff ZBDongle-E with USB extension, an APC 650VA UPS, two selected Sonoff Zigbee sensors, one local automation, dashboard, backup and a written summary of local and internet-dependent functions.
The equipment, normal installation materials, setup, testing and handover are included. Additional relays, sensors, network equipment and electrical work are separate named items.
What can continue locally
- compatible Zigbee sensors, switches and relays;
- Home Assistant dashboards used on the local network;
- automations triggered by local devices and conditions;
- selected LAN integrations with a documented local API;
- manual wall controls that remain electrically available.
Without cloud does not mean without a network
The server, phone, access points and LAN devices still need a working local network. The UPS helps during short power interruptions but does not replace a properly designed backup-power system. Router faults, damaged cables or unpowered access points can still interrupt control.
Functions that may still need internet
Remote access from outside the property, software updates, voice assistants and devices that only provide a vendor-cloud connection may require internet. Existing Tuya, Smart Life, Tapo or other products do not automatically become local when Home Assistant is installed.
We state each dependency instead of promising that every device will work offline.
Compatibility audit
For an existing system we record device models, hubs, integrations and accounts. Suitable equipment can remain; cloud-only or undocumented devices may need replacement, isolation or a phased migration. Migration work is quoted separately because its effort depends on the current system.
Local control and privacy
Keeping an automation local reduces unnecessary external dependencies, but security still requires updates, strong accounts, protected remote access and a documented recovery route. “No cloud” is not used as an excuse to leave the server unmanaged.
